2. The Rental Fee is $175 for the first month and $125 each month thereafter. A minimum of two months to start is required. We will deliver the coop free of charge to residencies within Newtown, Connecticut. A delivery fee of $1 per mile is applied to your invoice if outside of Newtown, Connecticut. The Little Cluck Club will also pick up the package for the same amount once your rental period is over.

3. Our rental coops are supplied with 2 laying hens, 1 bale of bedding for the nesting area, 1 fifty pound bag of feed for the initial rental period, and feed and water bowls. If you decide to extend your rental period, it is your responsibility to pick up additional feed and bedding from our location upon appointment, unless you would like it delivered, in which case a delivery fee of $1 per mile will apply.

4. You, the customer is responsible for maintaining the well-being and health of the chickens. The chickens must always have access to clean water. In weather over 80 degrees, the chicken coop must be kept in a shaded area of the yard. It is recommend that you move the coop to a new location every 3-5 days and changing the bedding once a week. The hens love to wander around the yard while out of the coop. We recommend letting them out for at least an hour a day, while someone is outside with them.

5. Should the hens die of misadventure, accident, or escape and be lost, there will be a $25 charge per hen. If you would like the hen to be replaced, we can deliver a replacement hen to you for $1 per mile round trip.

6. The Little Cluck Club does not guarantee the laying hens will lay an egg every day. They should lay 3-5 eggs each, per week, however they tend to lay more often in the spring and summer than they do in the fall and winter (laying is not always consistent).

7. The customer is solely responsible for assuring that they meet any local and county regulations relating to keeping chickens on their property. Refer to our site for Newtown and surrounding town's regulations on keeping poultry.

8. The rental coop must be returned in a good, rentable condition which will be determined by The Little Cluck Club employees. Your coop will be assessed once it is returned, and a fair fee will be applied if any damage is done to the coop. This fair fee cannot be contested, and it will be determined by The Little Cluck Club employees.

By renting chickens, chicken coops, or any related supplies, you are agreeing to the Terms And Conditions above.
